THE GIRLS NEXT DOOR

Wednesday, August 2nd

7:30 PM – Entertainment Center

The simplest way to describe The Girls Next Door is to say their voices make undeniable magic together . . . yet their sound is anytihng but simple.

Hailing from Kansas City, The Girls Next Door is the culmination of three solid solo voices that meld together to make the perfect female vocal band. They bring a style that’s a little bit country, a little bit rock n’ roll, with a whole lot of blood-rich harmony.

Angie Larson, Barbara Walker and Jamie Gumm are the three voices of this dynamic group. After sharing stages around Kansas City for over 25 years, their individual solo strenths organically grew to become a powerhouse trio. They’ve had the honor of working with manyh Nashville greats like Johnny Lee, Jimmy Fortune, Jim Ed Brown, Jeannie Seely and many more.

MAGIC CREATIONS MAGICIAN

Thursday, August 3rd

7:30 PM – Entertainment Center

Keith is a native of the Kansas City area and began his magical journey at age seven. That was when he received a "Hat full of Magic" magic kit for Christmas. After he opened the box, the rest of the unwrapped presents remained untouched until the day after Christmas, when his mother made him open the rest of his gifts. He was immediately smitten and bitten by the magic bug. A magician lived next door to Keith growing up, and another magician also lived next door to his grandmother as well, where he spent much of his time as a youth. Both men encouraged Keith in his magical pursuits, and became mentors to him as a young boy. It’s no wonder, as Keith likes to say, “Sometimes we pick our careers, sometimes our careers pick us.” It was definitely latter in his case. Keith earned a B.S. in Mass Communications and a Minor Degree in Public Relations from Kansas State University. He earned his way through school as a bartender, performing magic behind the bar to increase his tips. He then went on to perform magic part-time as he worked in the Marketing Department at Sprint for five years before starting his own business, Magicreations, where he performs full-time as one of the most

successful and sought after magical entertainers in the field.
